Agenda Item #1: Welcome and Introductions

Meeting minutes for July were approved as submitted.

Agenda Item #2: Information Technology Services

Jim Day shared the Oracle contract meeting is next week. ITS is working on an enterprise-wide contract for GSI.

Russ Rozinek on August 19 the OS390 next release was installed. On August 22 and 23, DASD was upgraded. The next project is the year 2000 roll over planning. CTA will assist in documenting the procedures.

Question was asked whether ITS would have new rates for SFY 2001 or 2002. It was shared there are no current plans for rate changes. However, ITS is looking at better practices. Will rates be adjusted as a result of that? Unknown at this time.

Same question was asked of ICN. No ICN representative was present at this time.

George Lindamood, consultant work with State Public Policy Group on the contract for the development of the transition team report as referenced in the HF762 Transition Team legislation, provided an update on the work thusfar. George shared that he is meeting with agencies to seek their input on the services and structure for a new IT Department. He asked the audience for their input now on what is wrong that might motivate change? What is right? The last day for input in September 7.
